FAIRBURN, GA (CBS46) -

Regular and mid-grade pumps were shut down at a gas station in Fairburn after two people complained about receiving bad gas.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture tells CBS46 an inspector was sent to the gas station located on Senoia Road. Tests conducted at the station found significant amounts of water in the gas samples taken at the pumps.

Higher Octane samples did not yield bad results and were not forced to be turned off by the inspector.

The inspector also found 6.5 inches of water in ground lines leading to the pumps.

If you were impacted by the bad gas, notify the station owner and contact the State Agriculture Department at 404-656-3605.
