Funeral arrangements have been announced for a man who was shot and killed during a road rage incident on I-285 in DeKalb County on June 5.

Chris Ervin, 33, was shot and killed by another driver, later identified as 39-year-old Johnnie Hudson, following the fender bender.

According to the police report, Hudson asked a witness who stopped at the scene to call 911 and told him, "I just shot him." Hudson also reportedly told the witness Ervin didn't have a gun, which is why he was charged with murder, according to authorities.

His parents, Alberta and Charles, tell CBS46 that Chris was full of life, enjoyed spending time with his three children and kept a positive attitude. His last post on Facebook just hours before he died shows how full of life Chris was.

"I am so lucky to be alive this (Monday) morning. I wanted to share my happiness with everybody. I hope everyone feels the same way as I do this morning. Good morning Facebook. It's Monday. Lets get this money".

A viewing will be held for Ervins on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First St. Paul AME Church on Klondike Road in Lithonia. His funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at True Love Christian Ministries on Jabco Court in Lithonia.

Meanwhile, No bond has been issued for Johnnie Hudson, who is scheduled to appear in court on June 20.
