DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputies arrest South Carolina Murder Suspect

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

On June 15, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Fugitive Unit located and arrested a suspect in connection with a murder in Aiken South, Carolina. 

Tobias Thomas, 20, shot and killed Kalief C. Bey with a handgun on Brandt Court in Aiken. Thomas was found in a residence near Decatur, Georgia and arrested him without incident. 

He is being charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of Violent crime. 

Thomas is currently behind bars at the DeKalb County Jail awaiting extradition by the city of Aiken.
