FBI: Violent robbers strike ten times

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The FBI is asking for help identifying violent robbers who have struck ten times since early October. They are targeting Asian-owned businesses throughout metro Atlanta, including massage parlors.

They most recently robbed a massage parlor in Roswell on November 10.

"We want businesses similar to these to be aware that this is going on, that they’re frankly not safe until we have a better beat on this crime group," said FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett.

The robbers have hurt people who are complying, which is concerning to investigators. In many of the cases, they've pistol-whipped customers and employees inside the businesses. During a robbery at restaurant in Doraville, three people were shot. Two customers were shot in their legs and an employee was shot in the back while she was already down on the ground.

"They’re going to hit again, they’re going to hurt again and unless we get that crucial tip that we need to identify them and to even locate them, others are going to get hurt," said Emmett.

One of the robbers has tattoos on the left part of his neck, and possibly a tattoo under his right eye. He has a gold watch on his left wrist and is left-handed.

The three suspects are using a 2004-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix with a temporary tag.

Anyone with information is asking to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
