The 2018 Major League Baseball season kicks off Thursday as the Braves host the Philadelphia Phillies at SunTrust Park and Julio Teheran will get the start.

The 27-year-old right-hander will be making his fifth straight opening day start. He is 1-1 with a 1.88 ERA in his first four, including six scoreless innings against the Mets last year. Teheran was 11-13 with a 4.49 ERA in 2017.

There's still plenty of seats available for the game. According to the Braves' website, many of the tickets will cost between $20 to $188.

Of course, the game is just one of several things happening near the stadium. A parade will take place through the Battery and Hall-of-Famer Chipper Jones will throw out the first pitch.

Braves Projected Starting Lineup:

1. Ender Inciarte, CF
2. Ozzie Albies, 2B
3. Freddie Freeman, 1B
4. Tyler Flowers, C
5. Nick Markakis, RF
6. Preston Tucker, LF
7. Dansby Swanson, SS
8. Ryan Flaherty, 3B
9. Julio Teheran, P

Weather-wise, we could see some showers but it will be cloudy and breezy for tailgating and the first pitch. The showers and storms could move in near the end of the game.
