Officials at the world's busiest airport held a full-scale disaster drill with firefighters, law enforcement, rescue personnel and nearly 150 volunteers participating.

The drill was designed to test the effectiveness of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport's emergency response in case of a mass casualty disaster. The drill recreated a scenario where an aircraft is on fire with 150 passengers inside.

Federal Aviation Administration requires airports to conduct the drills at least one full-scale drill every three years.
