NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CBS46) -

Police say four people are dead following a shooting at a Waffle House restaurant shooting just outside of Nashville on Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred around 3:30 a.m.

Nashville Police say a naked gunman walked into the restaurant and opened fire killing four and wounding two others.

A customer managed to wrestle the gun from the shooter, but was unable to prevent the man from fleeing.

Now police are searching for 29-year-old Travis Reinking, who they say is a person of interest. The gunman arrived in a car registered to Reinking, according to police.

Mayor David Briley tweeted "It's a tragic day for our city anytime people lose their lives at the hands of a gunman. My heart goes out to the families and friends of every person who was killed or wounded in this morning's shooting. I know all of their lives will be forever changed by this devastating crime."

A man believed to be Reinking was last seen in a wood line near Discovery at Mountain View Apartments on Mountain Springs Drive.

The man was wearing black pants without a shirt.

If anyone sees Reinking, they are advised to contact police immediately.
