CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A two year-old girl is dead and her 5 month-old baby sister is hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash on I-75 in Clayton County.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. Sunday evening along I-75 near the intersection with Charles Grant Parkway.

Clayton County Police tell CBS46 News that an SUV with a family of five inside swerved to avoid an accident when a vehicle veered into their lane. That caused the SUV to roll over.

The toddler killed was later identified as 2 year-old Michaela Cost. The 5 month-old baby has been identified as Morana Cost-Corbitt.

A third child, later identified as 4 year-old Micole Cost and both parents, 26 year-old Michael Corbitt and 23 year-old Lanicia Cost sustained minor injuries and all are expected to be okay.

Police are currently searching for a blue sedan with New York license tags. The make and model of the vehicle is unknown at this time.

If you have any information on the crash, you're asked to contact Clayton County Police.
