Missing man with dementia may be traveling through Gwinnett County

CARROLLTON, GA (CBS46) -

The Carrollton Police Department is searching for a missing man diagnosed with dementia and a Mattie's Call has been issued as a result.

Charles Thomas Leach, 68, left his home on South Park Street in Carrollton Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. He is believed to be traveling in his 2003 red Ford F-150 pickup with the Georgia license tag of RDU0343. 

The pickup was last seen Wednesday night around 8:30 p.m. on northbound I-85, just north of Indian Trail Lilburn Road in Norcross.

Leach has been diagnosed with dementia.

He's described as a white male, standing about 5'7" tall and weighing around 130 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes and was wearing a Georgia Tech baseball cap.
