COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Little Connor Green is racking up the awards after he saved the life of his mother who was suffering a severe asthma attack in February.

On February 8, Green called 911 after he found his mother Christina lying on the floor of their home with her rescue inhaler at her side. Connor, with the help of dispatcher Karnia Lake, checked his mother's vitals and helped lead rescuers to her.

Firefighters arrived on scene and began treatment but after a few minutes, she went into cardiac arrest and CPR had to be performed.

Paramedics then arrived and initiated Advance Life Support protocols until Christina regained a pulse.

On Monday, Connor was presented with the Cobb County Citizen Life-Saver Award. He is also a member of the Boy Scouts and the organization presented him with the Lifesaving and Meritorious Award.
