COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A man who was wanted for a domestic incident in Cherokee County is dead after a SWAT situation early Thursday morning at a home in Marietta.

The incident happened at the home on the 900 block of Millwood Drive.

Marshall McCall, 47, of Acworth, was wanted on charges of aggravated assault following an incident on Rose Creek Run in Cherokee County on Wednesday. He was last seen in the area of Towne Lake and was considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police say they received a call after someone noticed the black, 2012 Kia Optima he was driving was parked outside the home on Millwood Drive, which is believed to be his parent's home.

Other people were inside the home at the time of the call but officers were able to safely get them out. After hearing a gun shot, officers then entered the home and found McCall dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
