ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Kroger is doing what they can to help alleviate the cost for teachers by giving away free school supplies during three remaining events at Georgia locations.

One event has already taken place and more are scheduled at three other locations throughout the month of July and educators can pick up everything thing from copy paper, construction paper, Scotch tape, disinfectant wipes, sandwich bags, markers and much more!

Teachers with a valid school ID will be allowed to fill one reusable bag that they can fill with school supplies.

  • A second event happens on July 17 at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The third event will take place on July 18 at the Macon Centerplex-Monument Room on Coliseum Drive in Macon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The fourth and final event takes place on July 30 at the Westside Comprehensive High School in Augusta from 10 a.m. from 2 p.m.
