Fire forces evacuation of hotel in Atlanta

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A 2-alarm fire forced the evacuation of a hotel in Atlanta late Friday.

The fire started just after 8 p.m. at Magnolia Advanced Materials, located in the 4000 block of Northeast Expressway.

The nearby hotel that was evacuated was the Lodge Atlanta Extended Stay. Guests have since been allowed back inside the hotel.

There were no injuries in the fire, and the cause has not yet been determined, according to a spokesperson with the DeKalb County Fire Department.
