ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Police are trying to determine what happened after a man was found shot inside his vehicle along I-20 in Atlanta early Friday morning.

The man, identified as 33-year-old Rodrigo Castillo, was found inside his vehicle, which was parked in one of the right lanes on the westbound side of the highway near the exit ramp to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. He had been shot in the head and was taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta in critical condition.

Police say the shooting may have been the result of a road rage incident.

Investigators are now looking for a woman they believe the victim had been on a date with that evening.

Police say Castillo may have met the woman using either dating app Bumble or Coffee Meets Bagel. The woman may be Colombian, a graduate student from a local college such as Emory University or Georgia State University.

Investigators say they do not believe the woman is involved in the victim's death, but would like to speak with her for more information.

Currently no suspects are in custody.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.

A reward of up to $2,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
