ATLANTA (CBS46) -

It could be a tough start to the morning for Buckhead residents as the storms that blew through on Thursday toppled tress and knocked down power lines, causing several outages in the area.

Several streets are also blocked off, including Northside Drive, as a huge fallen tree has shut down the roadway right in front of Jackson Primary School. If the tree isn't cleared soon, it could be a traffic nightmare for buses and vehicles dropping off students for school.

Power is still out for over 200 residents in the area and Georgia Power is still assessing to determine a restoration time.

CBS46 is out assessing the damage and we've seen several trees down blocking portions of roadways and many street lights are out.

Be careful!
