Above Average Temperatures Continue
The pleasant weather is forecast to stick around central and north Georgia until early next week. There will be a couple of cold fronts zipping by that will give us a slight chance at a shower, but no major swings in the mercury are seen just yet. That will change about this time next week, as yet another stronger Arctic front blows through Atlanta. By next Wednesday and Thursday, we could be seeing lows in the upper 30s. We will keep you fully updated as this weather event unfolds.
Tonight: Clear and crisp. Lows in the upper 40s. Wind light from the north.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and very mild. Highs in the upper 70s. Wind southeast at 5-15 mph.
Friday: Chance for light showers around midday, especially north of Atlanta. Highs in the mid 70s. Chance of rain is 30 percent.
