Ashley joined CBS46 as a reporter in September 2016.

Ashley has worked in both Phoenix, Arizona and Montgomery, Alabama covering everything from politics and crime to severe weather and college football. One of her most memorable assignments was covering President Barrack Obama’s remarks from the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge during the 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March in 2015. Ashley has also extensively covered sports, reporting in SEC country for a number of years.

Ashley was awarded a ‘Best Reporter’ Associated Press Award for her work in 2015.

She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was on the dance team. After graduation, Ashley was a professional cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints. She has also worked for ESPN as a production assistant.

In her spare time, she loves trying out new restaurants, shopping, taking barre classes, and going to church.
