Councilman Antonio Brown's car stolen in broad daylight

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) -- CBS46 has obtained the 911 call from Councilman Antonio Brown following the theft of his car Wednesday morning.

Around 11:42 a.m., officers were called to 2390 Verbena Street regarding a stolen vehicle.

When they arrived, officers spoke with Brown who said he exited his vehicle to speak with an investor about developing affordable housing when several men entered his unlocked car and drove away with it.

Councilman Brown spoke with CBS46's Brittany Edney Wednesday in regards to the incident.

He said his phone was also stolen during the incident. 

Police are working to identify the suspects and locate the vehicle.

Brown said he will not press charges.

How hypocritical. Vote to defund the police to the tune of $70M, and then call them when you want their help.


And this is the guy that wants to negotiate with lawless gangs. And, if he's not pressing charges, then why call the police and waste their time. People (politicians) like this are why crime is totally out of control.
