Police arrested two people in connection to a grow house bust which took $390,000 worth of marijuana off the streets.A home invasion call led East Point officers to the grow house at 1035 Poplar Street on April 14.An East Point resident encountered four men who had entered the house. They exchanged gunfire before the four suspects took off with an unknown number of marijuana plants.Officers obtained a search warrant and recovered 310 plants from the home. The weight of the confiscated marijuana was approximately 99 pounds.Police arrested a man and a woman in connection to the grow house. The resident of the home, 50-year-old Monti Stanley, was charged with possession with intent to distribute, in addition to the manufacturing and trafficking of marijuana.
