Children as young as three to start public school

CBS46 is advocating for students and taxpayers as DeKalb County Schools tries a bold experiment meant to improve education in some of Georgia's lowest performing elementary schools.

Nearly 200 three-year-old children will soon be attending school.

It's a move educators hope will aid students in getting ahead of the learning curve that has proven difficult for several schools in the county and other parts of southeast Atlanta.
