prison break mom and son

Newnan, Ga (CBS46) Deputies in Newnan have located 54-year-old Kathy Pence who helped her son, 27-year-old Joshua Gullatt, escape from his prison work detail on Monday.

Deputies in Franklin say Joshua was working as a cleaning detail around midnight at Heard County Jail. He was serving a 24 to 36 month sentence on two charges of burglary. According to officials, Kathy was waiting in a black Cadillac Escalade at a nearby facility.

The two then drove to Coweta County where deputies tracked their cell phone usage to an IHOP.

Gullatt will face felony charges for escaping. His mother is also facing a felony charge for aiding an escape.
