Dunwoody, GA (CBS46) Students and parents will see an increased police presence at their school after a threat forced a lockdown on Thursday.

Dunwoody Elementary School went into lockdown after someone called in a threat. Teachers locked their doors while scared students hid behind tables and chairs.

No word on what kind of threat was made.

Students watched as armed police scoured the campus.

Police posted a message on social media, saying both Dunwoody Elementary and Crossroads Christian Academy received threats from an identical number used to make threats at schools in California and Florida.

Police are now working with federal agencies to identify the suspect.
