Julian Johnson joined the CBS46 news team in August 2015. He specializes in the south metro area primarily Clayton, Henry, Coweta and Fayette counties to name a few. Prior to heading to the Peach state, Julian called St Louis home. He worked with fellow Meredith owned station KMOV. There he received an Emmy nomination for his coverage of the unrest in Ferguson, MO following the shooting death of Michael Brown. He was one of the first reporters to show the nation what was taking place when riots and looting broke out during the 2014 incident. Before St Louis, Julian worked in Ft Myers at WBBH covering everything from tropical storms to documenting the city's record homicide numbers. Julian is originally from Deerfield Beach, FL. and is a graduate of the University of Florida. He is happy to call Atlanta home now feel free to reach out with any news tips!
