Crews with Georgia's electric membership cooperatives (EMCs) are working to restore power to 69,192 residents in the wake of Hurricane Michael.
Nearly 210,000 people were initially without power prior to Saturday morning. EMC officials say it could take several more days to restore power to the hardest-hit areas of Middle and Southwest Georgia.
The public is reminded to avoid downed power lines, which may remain energized.
