LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (CBS46)- Police in Gwinnett County are searching for a robbery suspect.

According to authorities, a man walked into the QuikTrip convenience store on Old Peachtree Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville. Police say the man pulled out a pocket knife and demanded money from the cash register. The employee was not able to give the suspect any money, so he left the store. 

When the suspect got out into the parking lot, he approached the driver of a Jeep. When the driver of the Jeep rolled down his window, the suspect put the knife up to this throat and demanded money.

The victim handed over a few hundred dollars.  The suspect was last seen walking towards Dean Road.
