Man ties up worker before robbing Canton Verizon store

Police are searching for a man caught on surveillance camera entering a Verizon store in Canton and putting a gun to a store clerk's head before tying her up and robbing the store.

The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Verizon store on Marietta Highway in Canton.

In the video, you can see the suspect enter the store, wave a gun at the woman before putting it to her head and forcing her into the back area of the business. He then bound her hands and feet and proceeded to rob the store. He made off with an undetermined amount of cell phones and fled the scene in a 2016-2018 silver Nissan Sentra.

The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his late 20's with a slim build. He was wearing a pink bandana covering his face, sunglasses, a black hat and white gym shorts.
