(Meredith) -- Maroon 5 is rumored to be the performer during the halftime show for Super Bowl LIII on February 3, 2019.

Variety first reported that Adam Levine and his band would play the halftime show, citing two anonymous sources. The NFL and Maroon 5 have yet to confirm the rumors, but that hasn't stopped the band's fans from getting excited.

Maroon 5's two biggest hits this year were "I Like It" featuring Cardi B and "Don't Wanna Know" featuring Kendrick Lamar. Now, fans are already speculating as to which other artists might appear as special guests during the performance.
