People in Atlanta will soon see a new electric scooter on the streets.

The company, called Muving, is launching its US debut right here in the city of Atlanta. Muving USA is launching a fleet of 100 bright yellow, electric scooters around Atlanta that you will be able to rent through an app.

The battery-powered scooters feature a 49cc engine, which means they are considered a moped. They will be placed in Downtown, Midtown and Old Fourth Ward. You rent the scooters through an app, pay per minute of use and then just park them when you are done.

There is a geomapped location where the scooters will be available, but you can ride outside of that location. However, the scooter must be returned to the geomapped location when you’re finished.

Each scooter has two helmets included, which are required to be used in Georgia. There will also be disposable caps included with the helmet for sanitary reasons. The helmets will also be changed and refreshed every so often.

There are other requirements and restrictions that go along with them including: must be 18 years old to ride (even though you only have to be 15 in the state of Georgia to ride a moped), must have a valid driver’s license and you must always wear your helmet.
