Search conducted but still no sign

Family and friends of 27-year-old Heather McDonald are still optimistic they'll find her. According to a profile on Facebook created by her family on her behalf, a search was conducted Sunday in the wooded areas behind the Courtesy Inn.

McDonald's husband said his wife had been under some stress but he said she would never walk away from the family.

"Heather has never disappeared like this," he said. "She had some erratic behavior in the last couple of months and she was overly stressed, that kind of thing, but nothing that would indicate that she was going to just disappear. She wouldn't go this long without reaching out to her kids."

There is currently a $1000 reward for information that leads to Heather. That amount will grow as people continue to donate.
