Police have arrested two more suspects tied to an early Saturday morning shootout at a Goodwill parking lot in Athens.

On Tuesday afternoon 18-year-old Jarvis Clarke and Ladaryan Thrasher were apprehended in an area near Spring Valley Mobile Home Park.

Officers were called to the mobile home park around 1 p.m. after shots were reportedly fired. Once on the scene, officers observed several rounds on the ground. Witnesses say the shooters fled the scene in a white Pontiac Grand Prix. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Another officer spotted the suspects and conducted a traffic stop in which four firearms were recovered.

Officers believe the mobile park shooting is connected to the gang-related shooting at the Goodwill in the 4000 block of Lexington Road.

Both shootings are believed to be apart of a recent string of gang-related shootings in the area.

At least five vehicles were damaged by gunfire in a parking lot littered with 14 shell casings. Again, no injuries were reported.

Police canvassing the area caught five male suspects at the Oaks Apartment complex on Gaines School Road. Following a search of the apartment three handguns were recovered.

Two of the suspects, Damari Jones and Mortavius Crew, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and gun charges.

A warrant has been issued for Terique Eberhart who is wanted for aggravated assault.
