Police have released the identities of the pilot who was killed and two men who were injured during a plane crash on Highway 369 near Lake Lanier in Forsyth County on Saturday.

The single-engine prop plane hit a small car when it crashed, according to authorities.

No one in the vehicle was injured.

The pilot has been identified as 28 year-old Ernesto Antonio Arteaga-Membreno of Grayson. Two additional men sustained non life-threatening injuries during the crash. They've been identified as 30 year-old Litsu Chen and 25 year-old Shen Yang Wu.

Officials say they believe Arteaga-Membreno tried to make an emergency landing prior to the crash.

CBS46 has learned that based on the tail number, the plane was registered to the Flight School of Gwinnett. We've reached out to the school but have yet to receive a comment.
