Restaurant Report Card: Casanova Taqueria scores a 62 'U,' Your Pie wins Golden Spatula Award

A very popular restaurant failed a surprise health inspection. The inspector's report could gross you out.

On Powder Springs Road in Marietta, the sign outside Casanova Taqueria says "open," but on the inside, it felt closed.

We waited, and waited, and finally talked to an employee.

Casanova Taqueria scored 62 points and a U for unsatisfactory on a surprise inspection.

The report says there were raw eggs next to a container of water bottles. There was also food debris and a black substance on the margarita machine, and a heavy accumulation of grease and food debris in the coolers.

When asked, an employee said the coolers had been cleaned up.

Other scores

Golden Spatula Award

If you're on the go like me, you're looking for good food, fast, that's fresh. We found the perfect spot for you.

It's Your Pie on Memorial Drive in Atlanta's Grant Park.

It's a pretty new restaurant, but I'll tell you, they have a lot of people coming in here. You build your own pizza. It's a 10 in. personal size pizza and it's fresh because all of the ingredients are laid out, and you choose what you want for $8.50.

They slide it right into a brick oven and it comes out with that crispy crust and tastes so good! You can also enjoy some of the craft beer they have, as well as gelato for desert.

And if you're lucky, you can find time to squeeze in a video game or two.

They picked up a perfect 100, and for that, congratulations! They're the winner of the Golden Spatula Award!

In addition to the pizza, you can also try the boozy blueberry lemonade. You can also get the Nat pizza, which is named after their founder, with sun-dried tomatoes and chicken.

Boy, that's good!
