A popular pizza joint failed to make the grade this week with a health score in the 40's. The inspector identified everything from food at unsafe temperatures to an outdated food permit, but don't worry, we also have good news to report.

Mediterranean is on the menu this week, we found a little Greek restaurant in Alpharetta, Papouli's and this is a family owned and operated business. They've been around 11 years and the restaurant is named after the owner's grandfather with deep Greek roots, so you know everything here is authentic and tastes delicious.

We'll tell you about some of the favorite dishes, but first here's this week's best and worst scores.

Napolie Pizzeria on Hammond Drive in Fulton County failed it's last surprise inspection with only 49 points and a "U" for unsatisfactory. The report said the restaurant was operating without a current food service permit. Plus, food was stored on the floor in the cooler and there was cheese with mold-like growth on it.

CBS46 reporter Adam Murphy was told he was not welcome at the restaurant when he asked an employee about the wrong health score of 90 being posted.

"Two things to tell you. Thank you for coming and I think you guys are fake news," said the employee.

Other Scores:

Farm Burger in DeKalb County received a 93 Olde Town Tavern and Grill in Gwinnett County earned a 96 New China House in Cobb County scored a 98

Golden Spatula Award Winner

At Papouli's on Windward Plaza in Alpharetta scored a perfect 100, so congratulations, they are the winner of this week's Golden Spatula Award.

When people come in here they love food. Menu items include Greek salad with gyro, hummus, a gyro plate and souvlaki is on the menu as well, plus they have an assortment of desserts.

Boy, that's good!
