Atlanta, Ga (CBS46) If you plan to dine out be sure to watch CBS46's exclusive Restaurant Report Card before making a reservation. This week, a fast food joint received a score in the 60's, but it's not all bad as Adam Murphy found a popular grill that is a hit with customers.
This week's Restaurant Report Card was a home run at Braves All Star Grill on Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta. The ambiance is serving up Braves Country with memorabilia from all the legends, delicious food including a hamburger with a bun branded with the Braves logo and some tomahawk beer.
Over on on Cobb Parkway in Atlanta, health inspectors identified serious violations inside a fast food restaurant.
Zoes Kitchen failed its last surprise inspection with 69 points and a 'U' for unsatisfactory. The report said cheese, chicken and pasta were at unsafe temperatures. Plus, there were dirty coolers in the kitchen and food debris on several utensils.
The manager offered up "no comment" when asked if food utensils were being cleaned and what was being done to correct the issue.
The lack of response from management didn't sit well with one customer.
"I've worked in the food industry before and anything under a 90 I probably wouldn't eat at," said one customer.
- American Delie on Mt. Zion earned 90 points
- Pollo Tropical on Buford Drive received a 94
- Olde Towne Grille on Cobb Parkway scored a 96 on a re-inspection
