A second suspect connected to a July 16 robbery of a pizza delivery guy at Super 8 Motel has been captured by police.

Police in Acworth arrested Michael Larron Edwards on July 24.

Police say evidence linked the 20-year-old to the crime. He is charged with armed robbery false imprisonment, aggravated assault, theft by taking more than $1,500 and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The first suspect, Yahaakob M Estes-Robinson, 19, was arrested a few days following the incident in the area of Grove Trail.

The two suspects robbed a pizza delivery guy on the backside of the hotel located in the 4900 block of Cowan Road.

The victim say the men forced him to his knees at gunpoint, took his keys, cell phone, $18, the pizza and the victim's dark blue 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe.

On Tuesday the stolen vehicle was recovered in a Grove Park subdivision. Police investigating the case attempted to make contact with two men who matched the description of the suspects, but were unable to catch them as they fled the scene.

The person caught on surveillance is a person of interest who ran from officers.

Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact Acworth Police Department at 770-974-1232.
