Police have arrested two adults and one juvenile in connection to the murder of Daniel Perez, who was fatally shot in a Kennesaw business plaza two weeks ago.

Devin Thomas and Maria Mungai are both charged with felony murder. Thomas is also facing a charge for possession of marijuana.

The identity of the juvenile has not been released.

An arrest warrant for Mungai states she not only did she conspire to kill Perez, but also, assisted with fleeing the crime scene and concealing the suspects.

The suspects are accused of luring 25-year-old Perez to the plaza where they distracted the victim, shot him in the head at close range and then robbed him on March 23.

A man who was shot in the head in a Kennesaw business plaza passed away Monday evening after being taken off life support.

Perez was found in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head at the Shops at Blue Springs Station around 8:30 p.m. that evening in the Blue Springs plaza.

The victim's younger brother was behind the steering wheel at the time of the incident, according to police.

Two days after the shooting Perez was taken off life support and succumb to his injuries. He was laid to rest April 7.
