An EF-0 tornado touched down in Atlanta Wednesday as Hurricane Michael moved through Georgia.
The tornado occurred Wednesday evening along the outer-bands of the hurricane. Short-lived twisters are common as hurricanes make landfall due to enhanced spin in the air.
A tornado warning was issued at the time, which included Fulton, Cobb and Douglas counties.
An EF-1 tornado also touched down in Roberta, which is in Crawford County, about 80 miles southeast of Atlanta.
The tornado in Crawford County occurred earlier Wednesday, and the county was also included in a tornado warning.
