Woman critically injured in house fire, 2 dogs also dead

A woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a house fire in northeast Atlanta late Monday night.

The fire began just before midnight at the home on the 400 block of Harold Avenue.

Firefighters were able to rescue the woman from the home and she's currently being treated for smoke inhalation.

A man in his 40s and a 5 year-old child were also inside of the home when the fire broke out. They were able to make it out safely.

Two dogs were also killed during the fire.

No word on what ignited the blaze.
