A woman could be facing several years behind bars following a crash that killed a motorcyclist in downtown Atlanta early Sunday morning.

Police say 34 year-old Christie Taylor was ran a red light at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and Bell Street around 3 a.m., fatally striking a motorcyclist.

Police also say Taylor was intoxicated at the time.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Taylor is facing charges of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, speeding as well as several other driving related charges.

No word on when Taylor is expected to appear in court.
