June begins with quiet and warm weather in north Georgia. High temperatures will reach near 90° by the middle of the week as it stays dry. There is a low risk of showers/storms later in the work week.

What you need to know

Warmer weather is in the forecast for the middle of the week. Scattered t-storms move back in the forecast Thursday and Friday, but the risk of rain is not very high. 

Tropical Depression Three

Tropical Depression Three is strengthening in the western Gulf and is expected to become Tropical Storm Cristobal  tonight or Tuesday. It's too early to say whether it will bring rain to Georgia, but odds favor it moving west of our area.
