The latest in a series of rain storms is moving through north Georgia Friday morning. Dry skies return in the afternoon and stay through at least Sunday afternoon.

Rain likely for the morning commute. Showers linger through 12-2 pm. Some clearing in the mid to late afternoon. Milder with highs in the mid 50s.

Temperature trend

The temperature reached the 60s or 70s eleven times in the first half of January, but it may not get to 60° again for the rest of the month. Expect high temperatures to range from the upper 40s to mid 50s through the middle of next week. The weather will likely be dry through sunset on Sunday, with showers possible Sunday night. Heavy rain is not expected.
